The Gilded Dhow Miniature Sculpture is a collector-grade decorative piece honouring the UAE’s proud maritime heritage and the iconic wooden dhow that defined trade and travel across the Arabian Gulf for centuries. This hand-crafted sculpture is built by artisan model-makers using a high-density cold-cast resin composite, finished with a layered aged bronze patina achieved through a multi-stage hand-brushing and burnishing process.

The sail — the focal centrepiece of the composition — is finished with genuine 22-karat gold leaf applied by hand, catching light at every angle and lending the piece an unmistakable luminosity. Fine rigging detail is recreated using waxed black linen thread, and the hull features etched plank-line textures that mirror a traditional wooden dhow construction. The sculpture stands at 28 cm tall and 32 cm in length.

It is presented on a hand-polished black Zimbabwean granite plinth, base-mounted on felt pads to protect surfaces. The full presentation arrives in a velvet-lined rigid display case with a brass-clasp closure, accompanied by a branded care card and a printed heritage note on the cultural significance of the dhow in UAE and GCC history.
